This makes it easy to access different online content, such as music, movies and TV shows, without having to wait for it to be fully downloaded. <\/p>\n\n

Streaming<\/em> audio and video has been around for some time, but has gained in popularity in recent years with the increased availability of broadband and the mass adoption of mobile and Internet-connected devices. In fact, you will have heard this term countless times since the Covid came into our lives. <\/p>\n\n

The first streaming <\/em>service was launched in 1995 by Progressive Networks, which later became RealNetworks. This service was called RealAudio and allowed users to listen to live audio broadcasts over the Internet.   • Video streaming<\/em> refers to the online transmission of video, such as movies, TV shows and live events. This can be done through online video streaming services, such as Netflix or HBO, or through video platforms such as YouTube. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n

    In addition, there are other types of streaming<\/em>as the streaming<\/em> video game streaming, which refers to the online streaming of live video games, so popular today, through platforms such as Twitch, and the streaming<\/em> online events, which refers to the online broadcasting of live events, such as concerts or sports.<\/p>\n\n

    Why is streaming important in a corporate event?<\/h2>\n\n

    Streaming<\/em> a corporate event is very useful as it allows attendees to view and listen to the content of the event in real time, regardless of their location. This can be especially useful if the event is large-scale and has a geographically dispersed audience, or if some attendees cannot physically attend the event for whatever reason. <\/p>\n\n
